This Cancellation & Refund Policy outlines the terms related to reservation cancellations, changes, and refunds for stays at Silver Creek Cabins, LLC (“we,” “our,” or “us”).
By making a reservation, you agree to the terms below.
1. Standard Cancellation Policy
Unless otherwise stated at the time of booking:
- Cancellations made 14 days or more before check-in may receive a full refund, minus any non-refundable processing fees charged by third-party booking platforms.
- Cancellations made within 14 days of check-in are non-refundable.
- No refunds will be issued for early departures.
2. Booking Platform Policies
If your reservation is made through a third-party platform (such as Airbnb, VRBO, or other booking services), the cancellation policy displayed at the time of booking shall apply and may supersede this policy.
Silver Creek Cabins, LLC cannot override third-party platform rules.
3. Non-Refundable Circumstances
Refunds will not be issued for:
- Weather conditions
- Power outages in rural areas
- Road conditions or closures
- Personal emergencies
- Illness
- Travel delays
- Changes in plans
We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance.
4. Weather & Natural Events
Cabins are located in a rural setting where weather and environmental conditions may vary.
No refunds will be issued due to:
- Rain, snow, heat, smoke, or cold
- Temporary loss of utilities caused by storms or service providers
If the property becomes uninhabitable due to extreme circumstances, we will work with guests toward a fair resolution.
5. Reservation Changes
Requests to modify reservation dates are subject to availability and approval.
Date changes within 14 days of arrival may be treated as a cancellation.
6. Early Departures
No refunds are provided for:
- Early check-outs
- Voluntary departure
- Removal due to violation of house rules
7. Refund Processing
- Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method.
- Refund timing depends on the payment provider or booking platform.
- Processing times typically range from 5–10 business days.
8. Damage, Cleaning & Additional Fees
Refunds may be reduced or withheld if:
- Excessive cleaning is required
- Damage occurs beyond normal wear and tear
- House rules are violated
9. Right to Modify Policy
Silver Creek Cabins, LLC reserves the right to modify this Cancellation & Refund Policy at any time. Changes will apply to future reservations only.
