Check-in & Check-out
- Check-in is after 4:00 pm. Check-out is by 11:00 am.
- Your door code and arrival instructions are emailed the day before your stay.
- Early check-in or late check-out may be possible on request, but is not guaranteed.
- Before you leave: load and start the dishwasher, take trash to the outdoor bins, turn off lights, the stove and any heaters, close and lock all windows and doors, and put the hot tub cover back on.
- Please text us when you leave.
Guests & Occupancy
- The person booking must be at least 21 years old and is responsible for everyone in the group.
- Up to 10 guests may stay overnight. Only guests listed on the booking may stay. Going over the limit may end the stay without a refund.
- Day visitors are welcome with our approval, up to 4 extra people, and must leave by 9:00 pm.
- Quiet hours are 10:00 pm to 8:00 am. Please keep voices and music low outdoors, since sound carries at night.
- No parties or events without our written approval.
No Smoking or Vaping
- No smoking or vaping of any kind (tobacco, cannabis or e-cigarettes) inside the cabin, on the deck or near the hot tub.
- If you smoke, do it off the property boundaries and take your butts with you.
- Signs of indoor smoking will result in a cleaning fee of $250 or more.
Pet Policy
- Up to 2 dogs are welcome. Choose the number of pets when you book; the pet fee is $20 per pet, per night. Please tell us the breed and size.
- Pets stay off beds and furniture. Please bring their own bedding.
- Pets are not allowed in the hot tub.
- Pick up after your pet right away and put the waste in the outdoor trash. If pet waste is left behind, a $100 clean-up fee will be charged.
- Our outdoor areas are monitored by security cameras. They help keep everyone safe and the grounds clean for the next guests.
- Do not leave pets alone in the cabin unless they are crated.
- Pets must be leashed outside and kept away from wildlife and neighbors.
- Guests pay for any pet damage, extra cleaning or excessive hair removal. Unregistered pets may result in extra fees or the end of the stay without a refund.
Hot Tub
- Shower before using the hot tub, and do not use lotions or oils.
- Children must be supervised by an adult at all times.
- No glass anywhere near the tub. Use the plastic cups provided.
- Keep the cover on and fastened when the tub is not in use. This keeps it warm, clean and safe.
- Do not set the temperature above 102°F or add any chemicals. Text us if the water looks or feels off.
- Hot tub hours are 8:00 am to 10:00 pm.
- No pets, and no use after drinking heavily. Pregnant guests and anyone with heart conditions should check with a doctor first.
Vacuum, Broom & Housekeeping
- The vacuum and broom are in the hall closet.
- Your $220 cleaning fee covers the deep clean. We just ask that you leave the cabin reasonably tidy: sweep up tracked-in dirt, vacuum obvious messes and wipe up spills right away.
- Wash or load all dishes before check-out.
- Bag all trash. Food waste goes in the outdoor bins with the lids latched, because of wildlife.
- Recycling goes in the blue bin.
Linens & Laundry
- All beds come made with fresh linens, and towels are provided for each guest.
- At check-out, strip the beds you used and leave the sheets in a pile on each bed. Leave used towels in the bathroom tub.
- You are welcome to use the washer and dryer during your stay. Detergent is provided.
- Please do not wash pet bedding, muddy outdoor gear or hot tub covers in the machine.
- Towels are for indoor use. Please bring your own towels for the lake and hot tub, or use the ones marked outdoor.
Caring for the Property
- Treat the cabin like your own home, and tell us right away about anything broken or not working. We would rather know.
- Fires belong in the fire pit only. Never leave a fire unattended, and put it out completely with water before bed. No fires during county burn bans; we will tell you if one is in effect.
- The playset is used at your own risk, and children must be supervised.
- Park only in the gravel driveway. No parking on the grass.
- Do not feed wildlife, and keep food and coolers inside.
- No fireworks, firearms or hunting on the property.
- Outdoor security cameras watch the entrances and driveway 24/7. There are no cameras inside the cabin.
- Guests are responsible for damage beyond normal wear and tear, missing items and extra cleaning.
Safety & Liability
- In an emergency, call 911. The cabin street address is in your confirmation email; give it to responders.
- The nearest hospital is Arbor Health Morton Hospital in Morton, WA.
- A fire extinguisher is in the kitchen and a first-aid kit is in the bathroom.
- Contact us any time: call or text (phone number).
- A rural cabin comes with uneven ground, wildlife, nearby water and changing weather. Please use care, especially with children near water. Guests accept these natural risks during their stay; full details are in our Terms & Conditions.
These Cabin Rules are part of our Terms & Conditions and Cancellation & Refund Policy. Questions? Call or text (phone number).
